One of the most advantageous ways to contribute to OMID Foundation USA is through a gift of stock Making a gift of securities is simple and offers a number of valuable financial benefits. You can give appreciated stocks to OMID simply by transferring them into our account. There are some other ways to support OMID including giving in memory or honor of a loved one, donating your birthday or wedding, giving through work or fundraising through sports challenges and other fun, creative ways to raise funds for OMID.
Donations made to OMID Foundation USA are tax deductible in accordance with current laws for US tax payers. The OMID Foundation USA (EIN no 90-0406873) is a tax-exempt charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.
Unless funds are raised for a restricted use by Omid Foundation USA, they will be used for programs that support marginalized young women and/or the foundation’s general operating expenses.
Restricted funds which are raised in response to a specific fundraising campaign or explicitly designated by the donor to be used for a specified purpose will be used for the purpose for which they were given. In the unlikely event that the foundation either raises more money than can be reasonably and effectively spent for specific programs, or it is no longer possible to designate funds for the purpose for which they were given, the foundation will strive to use such residual funds for other programs that support marginalized young women.
