At OMID, we believe in the power of collaboration to create sustainable, long-term impact. By partnering with for-profit companies, nonprofits, and global foundations, we expand access to trauma-informed education, mental health support, and life skills training for marginalized women and girls of the Persian-speaking world.
Through these partnerships, we help young women heal from trauma, build confidence, and gain the tools they need to create independent and sustainable futures, while enabling our partners to strengthen their social impact and CSR initiatives.

OMID partnered with Stafford County Public Schools to support Afghan refugee students and families in the United States through trauma-informed and culturally responsive programming. Launched in July 2025, the collaboration introduced in-person workshops focused on trauma awareness, family engagement, and educational support.
Due to strong positive feedback from participants, the program continues through online workshops and follow-up consultations, equipping educators, youth, and families with practical tools to foster resilience, inclusion, and long-term well-being.

OMID is proud to be part of the Community Connections Campaign (CCC), the World Bank Group’s workplace giving initiative supporting over 500 nonprofit organizations globally.
Through this partnership, OMID gains access to a network of donors and supporters committed to advancing education, gender equality, and social impact. Contributions made through the CCC help expand OMID’s trauma recovery programs, educational initiatives, and empowerment opportunities for women and girls.

OMID collaborates on the implementation of the Voices Program, developed by Dr. Stephanie Covington, a globally recognized trauma-informed curriculum for adolescent girls and young women.
Through this partnership, OMID trains Persian-speaking facilitators to deliver this program, helping participants build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a strong sense of identity. Voices creates safe spaces where young women can reconnect with themselves, express their experiences, and move toward healing and empowerment.

OMID partners with Global Girls Glow, an international nonprofit dedicated to mentoring girls to become confident leaders and advocates for change.
Through this collaboration, OMID aligns with the GLOW Club model, creating safe, supportive environments where girls develop leadership skills, self-confidence, and the ability to advocate for themselves and their communities across diverse cultural contexts.

OMID and Junior Achievement of New York collaborate to empower refugee and immigrant youth through a combination of trauma-informed identity development and financial literacy education.
By integrating OMID’s My Identity program with JA’s Finance Park initiative, participants gain essential life skills such as emotional awareness, budgeting, saving, and responsible decision-making. This partnership equips young people with the confidence and practical tools needed for long-term personal and economic success.

OMID partnered with Educate Girls Now (EGN) in 2023 to expand access to education and emotional development programs for Afghan girls and young women.
Through this collaboration, EGN-referred students participate in OMID’s online courses, including English, Creative Writing, ICDL, and trauma-informed programs like Voices. OMID also delivers Train-the-Trainer workshops, enabling EGN leaders to extend knowledge and impact within their communities.

In 2024, OMID partnered with Afghans Empowered to strengthen global support systems for Afghan women and youth.
Through this collaboration, participants are referred to OMID’s online programs, including English language training, life skills education, and the Voices Program. These initiatives focus on emotional healing, confidence building, and social reintegration, helping participants rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.
